Accounts Officer

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting & Administrative Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing our company's day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping, while also providing essential administrative support.

The ideal candidate is a numbers-savvy problem-solver who takes pride in accuracy and enjoys a varied workday. You will play a key role in maintaining our financial health and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full accounts payable cycle: process vendor invoices, verify approvals, and prepare payments.
  • Manage the accounts receivable process: generate and send customer invoices, track payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Perform routine data entry and maintain accurate financial records in Excel
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly.
  • Process employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Prepare basic financial reports as needed.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Ensure office equipment is functional and coordinate maintenance.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience 1-2 in an accounting or bookkeeping role, with solid understanding of AP/AR principles.
  • 1+ years of experience in an administrative support role.
  • Proficiency with accounting softwares (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
