Accounts Officer

Karachi, Pakistan

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Account Officer with 2–3 years of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling internal accounts and supporting the accounting department with day-to-day financial operations and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are accurately recorded
  • Update accounts receivable and issue timely invoices
  • Update accounts payable, process vendor payments, and perform reconciliations
  • Maintain financial records and organize files for internal accounts- Assist in reviewing expense reports and payroll records as assigned
  • Update financial databases to ensure data is accurate and accessible
  • Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements
  • Support senior accountants in monthly/yearly closings
  • Assist in various ad hoc accounting projects as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in internal accounting roles
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
