Job Summary

Holzinn Home (North) Pvt. Ltd., a growing name in the construction and interior solutions sector, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Officer to handle financial operations with a focus on construction project accounting. The role demands precision, industry knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple project-based financial activities simultaneously. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate cost control, transparent financial reporting, and the smooth execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions related to construction projects, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledger entries.
• Prepare accurate financial reports with emphasis on project-based costing and profitability analysis.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings with construction-specific reconciliations.
• Monitor project cash flows, manage petty cash, and track labor, procurement, and site expenses.
• Prepare client invoices, contractor/vendor bills, and ensure timely collections.
• Support payroll processing for site and office staff, including labor wage tracking.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of contracts, purchase orders, and payment certificates.
• Ensure compliance with taxation, sales tax, withholding tax, and construction-related regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, contractors, suppliers, and project managers.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for ongoing and upcoming construction projects.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in construction, contracting, or real estate.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles with hands-on experience in construction project accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks or equivalent), MS Office, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to manage cost allocations across multiple projects.
• Familiarity with BOQs, project cost tracking, and vendor/contractor billing cycles.
• Solid knowledge of local tax laws and industry financial standards.
• Excellent organizational skills, confidentiality, and integrity.
