Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Record Keeping:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.

- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.

2. Financial Reporting:

- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

- Generate regular financial reports, including budget vs. actual analysis and variance explanations.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.

- Monitor and analyze budget performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

4. Compliance and Audit:

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

- Assist in preparing for external audits and implementing audit recommendations.

5. Financial Analysis:

- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

1. Professional qualification (CA/ACCA) or relevant degree in Accounting.

2. 1-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a similar industry.

3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements.

4. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office (particularly Excel).

5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

6. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
