We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Officer to support day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, managing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and accounting databases
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and timely
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records
- Assist with tax documentation and compliance requirements
- Coordinate with internal teams for billing, payment tracking, and financial queries
- Support audits and financial reviews when required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com / BBA / ACCA – Part Qualified preferred)
- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems
- Knowledge of tax compliance and financial documentation
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
