Accounts Officer

Job Overview:

The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining proper recordkeeping, and supporting management with analytical reports. The role requires strong attention to detail, timeliness, and proficiency in accounting tools, including Online QuickBooks for our hotel industry.

Job Description:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and books of accounts
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Prepare and post journal entries, vouchers, and ledger entries
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure timely invoicing and follow-up for collections
• Process payments, expenses, and petty cash transactions
• Support statutory compliance, such as GST, TDS, and other tax filings
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and internal controls
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits
• Track and manage vendor and customer accounts
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and MIS reporting
• Use accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or ERP systems) efficiently
• Provide support to senior finance and accounting team members

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong proficiency in online QuickBooks(Online) and MS Excel.
• Close attention to detail, accuracy, and reporting discipline.
