Accounts Officer Restaurant

The Accounts Officer is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations of the restaurant, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, timely payments, cost control, and compliance with accounting standards. The role supports management by providing reliable financial records and reports essential for smooth restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain accurate records of daily sales, expenses, and cash transactions
  • Record supplier invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Reconcile cash, bank statements, POS reports, and credit card settlements

Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Process vendor bills and ensure timely payments to suppliers
  • Track outstanding receivables, if applicable (events, catering, corporate clients)
  • Maintain vendor and customer account records

Payroll & Staff Payments

  • Assist in preparing payroll, overtime, and staff incentives
  • Ensure statutory deductions (tax, social security, etc.) are accurately recorded

Inventory & Cost Control

  • Monitor food, beverage, and operating expenses
  • Coordinate with store/operations teams on stock valuation and wastage tracking
  • Support food cost and variance analysis

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
  • Assist with budgeting and cash flow monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies
  • Support audits and inspections when required

Administrative Support

  • Maintain organized financial files and documentation
  • Assist management with financial data for decision-making

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)
