About the role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven
Accounts payable
to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting principles, hands-on experience with financial reporting, and the ability to manage day-to-day accounting operations with precision and integrity.
Job Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and finalize financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards.

Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.

Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements.

Stay up-to-date with the latest IFRS standards and ensure proper implementation within the company's financial practices.

Prepare reports and reconciliations to ensure adherence to IFRS requirements.

Collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance with IFRS during external audits.

Maintain and oversee the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.

Monitor and reconcile all balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.

Analyze financial data to provide insights for financial planning and decision-making.

Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the company's financial assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.

Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to strengthen internal controls.

Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and filing requirements.

Collaborate with the tax team to support tax planning, reporting, and audits.

Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support business objectives.

Communicate financial results to senior management, offering explanations and guidance on trends and variances

Job Responsibilities:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum 2-4 years of proven experience in an accounting role, preferably within the hospitality, real estate, or property management industry.

Solid knowledge of accounting regulations and standards (e.g., IFRS)

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
