Accounts Payable Accountant

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Accountant with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in AP operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in vendor management, invoice booking, and end-to-end AP processes, with the ability to support basic accounting tasks within logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Invoice Processing: Manage vendor invoice booking with 3-way matching, non-PO processing, and accurate coding.

Payments & Reconciliations: Process payments, verify supporting documents, prepare reconciliations, and resolve vendor queries.

Employee Claims: Handle overtime payments, petty cash reimbursements, business expense claims, and other employee-related financial submissions.

Logistics Accounting Support: Support basic accounting and documentation for logistics operations, including GRN coordination, freight charges, and cost tracking.

Month-End Closing: Assist with month-end closing activities, including AP accruals and reconciliations.

Reporting: Prepare AP aging reports and assist in internal and external audits.

Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal policies, accounting standards, and process controls.

Requirements:

Qualification: ACCA (fully or part-qualified), ICMA Finalist/Qualified, or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.

Experience: 3–4 years in Accounts Payable.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of 3-way match, non-PO processes, vendor management, and vendor reconciliation.

Technical Skills: Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or Microsoft D365 – a plus) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).

Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, organizational abilities, and strong communication and coordination skills.
