Accounts Payable Bookkeeper

Edikted is looking for a bookkeeper – Accounts Payable and would be responsible for managing accounts payable activities to ensure accurate financial records, timely vendor payments, and efficient financial operations. This role supports the accounting team by maintaining organized financial documentation and ensuring invoices are processed and recorded accurately.

What You'll Do:

• Process and manage accounts payable invoices and vendor payments

• Review invoices for accuracy, proper coding, and approvals

• Accurately code invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts

• Ensure timely payments in accordance with vendor terms

• Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and supporting documentation

• Reconcile accounts payable subledger to the general ledger

• Assist with month-end close related to accounts payable

• Maintain accurate and well-organized financial records

• Support audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed

• Assist with process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy

What You'll Bring:

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounts payable experience

• Understanding of general ledger coding and basic accounting principles

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

• Experience working in a high-volume accounts payable environment

• Experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar ERP systems)

Pay range and compensation package

Salary range: $75,000-80,000
