Accounts Payable Clerk

Overview

Signature Builder Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. We are a provider of interior finishes specializing in new construction. The ideal candidate will be reliable, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision while also thriving in a collaborative environment. Professional communication and a positive attitude are a must.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Process and monitor return and credit requests with suppliers
• Verify purchase orders, receipts, and invoices for accuracy
• Prepare and process weekly check runs
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain vendor and subcontractor files to ensure compliance with company policies
• Assist with month-end closing and reporting as needed
• Support the accounting team with data entry and other office related tasks
• Communicate with vendors and internal staff regarding billing questions
• Perform filing, scanning, and other administrative duties

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to follow through on tasks
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Sage 50 experience is a plus
• Ability to adapt to new procedures and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Positive and professional demeanor
