Accounts Payable Specialist

Vividh Impex, a Back office of a USA-based company, is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to oversee the company’s accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing, compliance with internal controls, and workflow efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, team management experience, accounts payable processes, and financial reporting expertise. Must be fluent in English and willing to work night shifts Monday to Friday from 6 pm to 3:30 am.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, vendor payments, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Lead and develop the accounts payable team, providing training, guidance, and performance management.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, GAAP, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to optimize payment processes and vendor relationships.
• Implement process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Review and resolve discrepancies in invoices and payment processing.
• Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports and support financial audits.
• Oversee the reconciliation of accounts payable ledgers and month-end closing activities.
• Develop and monitor key performance metrics related to accounts payable functions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounts payable,
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to accounts payable, including tax reporting and vendor documentation.
• Ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices.
• Fluent in English and Writing skills to draft reports.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in financial reporting.
