We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our San Francisco office. This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and values accuracy, collaboration, and discretion.

We are a respected professional services firm known for its commitment to excellence, integrity, and client service. Our finance team plays a critical role in supporting firm operations and ensuring strong financial controls across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Process high-volume accounts payable transactions with accuracy and timeliness
• Review, code, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments
• Maintain organized AP files and documentation in compliance with firm policies
• Assist with month-end close related to accounts payable
• Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding payments and invoices
• Collaborate with accounting and administrative teams to improve AP processes

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a professional services or law firm environment
• Strong understanding of AP processes and general accounting principles
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Professional communication skills and a high degree of discretion

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a law firm or similar professional services setting
• Familiarity with electronic payment platforms and expense management systems

Compensation & Benefits

• Expected salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on experience
