Accounts Payable Specialist

Extension is seeking a Accounts Payable Specialist for a DIRECT HIRE opportunity with one of our clients located in Brookfield, WI.

Key Objectives / Role Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and initiating payments
• Maintain vendor records and complete annual 1099 reporting
• Review and journal monthly credit card and expense reports while ensuring compliance with internal policy
• Perform accounts receivable (AR) and bank reconciliations, other accounts as assigned
• Assist in the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP
• Respond to requests for information from internal departments
• Support the finance & accounting team with general accounting duties as assigned

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Strongly prefer someone with at least 1 full cycle of AP experience
• Associates in Accounting required or Bachelor Deg

Salary Information

• Pay or salary range -- up to $55,000
