This is a part-time position.

We are seeking a skilled, detail‑driven Accounts Payable Specialist. You will work as part of a team on the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong vendor relationships. Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices with accuracy and efficiency
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents
• Verify invoice details including pricing, quantities, and terms
• Code invoices to the correct accounts and cost centers
• Secure required approvals for payment
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and process electronic payments and transfers
• Monitor accounts to ensure timely payment
• Respond to vendor inquiries professionally and promptly
• Maintain organized, audit‑ready AP records
• Support month‑end closing activities
• Identify and contribute to process improvements that enhance accuracy and efficiency

What You Bring

• Proven experience in accounts payable or general accounting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency with accounting systems (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications
• Experience with process improvement initiatives is a plus
