Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented
Accounts Payable Specialist
to support daily AP operations, including purchase order processing, invoice management, and vendor relations. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions while maintaining strong internal and external partnerships.
Key Responsibilities

Create and manage
purchase orders (POs)
in alignment with company policies

Process high-volume
vendor invoices
, ensuring proper coding and documentation

Perform
3-way matching
(PO, invoice, receipt) to validate transactions

Manage and process
employee expense reports
, ensuring compliance with company guidelines

Execute
payment processing
, including check runs, ACH, and wires (if applicable)

Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records
-
Serve as a point of contact for
vendor inquiries
, resolving discrepancies and payment issues

Support month-end close by ensuring AP transactions are recorded accurately and on time

Assist with process improvements and maintaining internal controls
Qualifications

2+ years of
Accounts Payable experience

Hands-on experience with:Purchase order processing

Invoice management
-
3-way matching
-
Expense reporting
-
Strong understanding of AP workflows and best practices

Proficiency in
Excel
(basic formulas, sorting/filtering; pivots a plus)

High attention to detail and accuracy

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)

Background in high-volume transaction environments

Strong communication skills for vendor and internal coordination
