Role Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Executive to join their Finance team in Dubai. The role will be responsible for managing client billings, vendor payments, reconciliations, and supporting overall financial accuracy within the agency. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, solid knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable (AR):
• Prepare, issue, and track client invoices in line with project milestones and contracts.
• Monitor collections and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely payments.
• Maintain accurate records of receivables and reconcile with client accounts.
• Liaise with account managers and project teams to resolve client billing queries.
Accounts Payable (AP):
• Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
• Manage payment runs, ensuring vendors are paid on time.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Support contract and PO (Purchase Order) compliance for third-party vendors.
General Finance Support:
• Assist with monthly closing activities, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation for audits and compliance.
• Support Finance Manager with cash flow forecasting and budget tracking.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and financial regulations.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in AR/AP, preferably in an advertising or creative agency.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards and UAE VAT regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or equivalent).
• Advanced MS Excel skills for reporting and reconciliation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
