Senior Finance Executive

The Role

• Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions in Tally and ensure accuracy in books of accounts. • Prepare sales invoices and record sales receipts in the accounting software. • Process vendor invoices, record payments, and maintain vendor accounts. • Follow up on receivables in coordination with the Business Head and relevant teams. • Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cash and bank records. • Manage petty cash accounting and related documentation. • Assist the Reporting Manager in preparing MIS reports and financial statements. • Handle ledger and intercompany reconciliations to ensure data integrity. • Prepare VAT workings, calculate liabilities, and process VAT payments on time. • Assist in statutory audits of standalone financial statements for Wizcraft UAE and its overseas entities, ensuring timely completion. • Prepare and ensure compliance with all tax filings, including VAT and Corporate Tax. • Support cross-departmental requests related to client information, job cost data, and policy or procedural requirements. • Collaborate with the Business Head, team members, and Finance team in India on financial operations and reporting. • Undertake any other accounting or finance-related tasks as required from time to time.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements, along with familiarity with international practices related to UAE entities. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders. • A proactive team player with strong collaboration and coordination abilities. • Ability to understand, anticipate, and respond to the needs of various stakeholders. • Proficiency in Tally ERP for accounting and financial management. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, with basic presentation skills in PowerPoint.
