Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. In this vital role, you will manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions. Responsibilities

• Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payments using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Workday
• Manage accounts receivable functions by invoicing clients, tracking payments, and reconciling customer accounts
• Handle accounts payable duties including vendor setup, invoice coding, data entry, and payment processing through systems like Paychex or ADP
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Prepare journal entries for month-end closing activities and assist with general ledger reconciliation efforts
• Maintain compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls and internal audit requirements
• Support benefits administration, HRIS data entry, and other related financial or human resources functions as needed
• Assist with governmental or non-profit accounting tasks, including grant tracking and tax reporting when applicable
• Conduct analysis of financial data to identify trends or issues impacting cash flow or account balances

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounting roles with a focus on accounts payable and receivable functions
• Excellent attention to detail with strong data entry skills (10 key typing proficiency)
• Ability to perform account reconciliation accurately and efficiently using analysis skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Candidates withe dealership experience will be preferred!

Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
