The Don Wood Family of Dealerships is looking to hire a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk! In business for 35+ years in the Athens & Hocking county areas. The foundation of our organization continues to be built upon the hard-working and dedicated members of our team from these local communities.

We are seeking an individual to support the management of company finances and contribute to overall cost savings. This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate records, managing customer payments, and ensuring strong financial controls.

Primary Duties:

• Process accounts receivable transactions and ensure timely and accurate recording


• Generate customer invoices and statements


• Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up with customers as necessary


• Reconcile accounts receivable sub-ledger to general ledger on a regular basis


• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the accounting system


• Enter Account Payables and process payments as instructed

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Previous dealership experience is not required, but preferred
• Ability to balance large volume accounts
• Detail oriented skills with strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Fast learner that is open to change and able to handle demanding environment
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Strong communication and people skills – both written and verbal
• All applicants must have the ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and valid driver’s license
