Accounts Receivable-Collections Specialist

We are seeking a motivated Accounts Receivable Collections Agent to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills to every interaction. Collections experience is preferred but not required as we're willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-volume outbound collection calls and work with customers to resolve past-due account balances
• Review and manage customer accounts using the company's database and internal systems
• Develop tailored payment plans and solutions based on account history and customer circumstances
• Maintain accurate records and Excel tracking spreadsheets; generating reports as required

· Document daily collections activity

· Research account disputes and billing discrepancies

• Collaborate with team members and adapt to shifting workflow priorities

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent
• Prior experience in collections, customer service, or a call center environment preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Mathematical aptitude and ability to analyze basic financial data
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; ability to learn new software systems
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
• Able to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
• Punctual, self-motivated, and a team player

Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
