Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary:
We are a scaffolding company seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist with strong QuickBooks experience. This role is responsible for managing invoicing, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances for construction projects, including progress billing and ongoing jobs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and send invoices in QuickBooks for scaffolding projects, including rentals and installations
• Manage progress billing and recurring billing for active jobs
• Track accounts receivable and maintain accurate aging reports
• Follow up with general contractors, property managers, and clients on outstanding invoices
• Apply payments and reconcile customer accounts
• Coordinate with project managers regarding job status, billing updates, and change orders
• Maintain organized records of contracts, invoices, and payment history
• Assist in resolving billing discrepancies and disputes

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Accounts Receivable
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (required)
• Experience working with construction, scaffolding, or similar trades
• Understanding of progress billing and job-based invoicing
• Excellent communication skills for client follow-ups
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AIA billing or construction invoicing formats
• Familiarity with permits, DOB-related projects, or compliance documentation (a plus)

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
