Accounts Receivable Specialist

Waste Connections is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our GROWING team in Colorado Springs, Colorado!

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour depending on experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and distribute invoices for assigned billing cycles to customers
• Organize, produce, and finalize invoices for all special and sophisticated accounts.
• Analyze and resolve issues with internal and external customers.
• Create weekly accounts receivable reports and update payment status information related to past due accounts.
• Process credits/refunds to customers as necessary.
• Reconcile Wires, credit cards, cash and check payments
• Online decisioning for unidentified payments.
• Contact customers as needed.
• Maintain daily deposit log
• Assist in month-end and year-end close.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be detailed oriented and well organized.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.
• 2+ years of Accounts Payable/Receivable experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required.
