About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Acoustics MEP Designer with at least 5 years of professional experience in acoustic engineering for building services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems and how they interact with acoustical performance in commercial, residential, and industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop acoustic design solutions integrated with MEP systems.
- Perform noise and vibration assessments for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Prepare acoustic modeling, simulations, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to deliver coordinated design packages.
- Conduct site inspections and diagnose acoustic issues related to building services.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Support the development of project proposals and technical reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Acoustical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in building acoustics and MEP design.
- Proficiency with acoustic modeling software (e.g., EASE, CadnaA, SoundPLAN, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of building services noise control.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and MEP schematics.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
