CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in procurement, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex procurement processes. This role is critical to ensure that CACI maintains efficient and cost-effective procurement operations.

Sourcing and Vendor Management:

  • Identify, evaluate, and engage reliable vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms to secure the best value for CACI.
  • Maintain and update vendor databases and records.


Procurement Process:

  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with CACI’s procurement policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and requirements.

Cost Management:

  • Analyze market trends and pricing to ensure competitive procurement.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives and strategies.
  • Monitor and report on procurement spending and budgets.


Contract Administration:

  • Manage contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and terminations.
  • Ensure contract terms are adhered to by both CACI and vendors.
  • Resolve any contract-related issues or disputes.


Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular reports on procurement activities and performance metrics.
  • Conduct analyses to identify areas for improvement in procurement processes.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management


Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered in place of a degree.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Proven experience in negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.


Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and regulations.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the defense or government contracting sector.

Competencies:

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong ethical standards and integrity.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$63,300 - 129,700 USD
