Acrylic Technician

The Acrylic Technician is responsible for preparing, shaping, assembling, and finishing acrylic materials to meet quality and design specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and expertise in handling acrylic sheets or products for use in displays, signage, furniture, or custom projects (or nail enhancements, if in beauty industry).

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and shape acrylic materials according to project specifications.
• Operate tools and machinery such as saws, laser cutters, polishers, and bending equipment.
• Bond and assemble acrylic components using appropriate adhesives or techniques.
• Sand, flame-polish, and finish edges to ensure a professional, high-quality appearance.
• Inspect materials for defects, accuracy, and finish quality before delivery or installation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with designers, fabricators, and project managers to meet deadlines and specifications.
• Repair or restore damaged acrylic parts as needed.
• Maintain records of materials used, time spent, and job progress.
