Located at: Boulder
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 7 AM to 3 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM. The family is happy to guarantee 40 hours per week. Occasional date nights, weekend support, and some flexibility will be needed with advance notice.
Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year - longer if it’s a great match.
Start Date: June, but flexible.

Children's Ages: Care will be for 3 children ages 5, 2 and newborn.

About the Children:
This family is expecting a baby boy in May! His two older sisters are excited for his arrival. The five year old loves imaginative and make-believe play setting up intricate scenes with her dolls. She is into art, dance, swimming, skiing, and climbing. The two year old is social, loves books, walking around outside and checking it all out, biking, skiing, swimming, and playing make-believe with her sister.

About the Family:
Mom and Dad both work full-time from home.
They love to travel, ski, bike, hike, camp, and spend time outdoors. They value outdoor exploration over screen time; crafts, reading, nature walks, and creative play; healthy living and home-cooked meals; direct and respectful communication; and a calm and positive energy.

About the Pets:
This family has two dogs. They are cute, energetic, always down for a walk, and to be snuggled - all candidates must be pet friendly.

Additional Notes:
This family has had great relationships with their previous nannies. They are looking forward to welcoming in a new nanny to their home - someone who will be a part of their parenting team - very soon.
Key Responsibilities
A day in the life...

Standard Duties:
All standard family assistant duties, including staying on routine, supporting milestone development, planning age-appropriate activities, organizational projects, light housekeeping, meal prep, family laundry, dishes, errends and other household tasks. Approximately 85% of your time will focus on the childcare, with the remainder supporting the household as needed.

Travel Requirements:
The ability to travel is required for the position. Family takes approximately 8-12 weeks of travel annually and will need their nanny to travel with them on most of their trips.
Trips are both domestic and international so a passport is required.
All travel expenses will be covered when traveling with the family.
Desired Skills And Abilities
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…
5 years of professional childcare experience with newborns, infants, and toddlers.
Previous experience with household management duties
Experience with multiple children and required.
French speaking is highly desired and would be a huge competitive advantage.
Strong understanding of child development.
The ideal candidate is calm, trustworthy, professional, solution-oriented, and comfortable with direct communication.
Must be confident swimming and comfortable around water.
Must be comfortable driving in the snow on mountain passes and in a large SUV.
Compensation And Benefits
Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):
The family is offering $32-$38/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $66,000 - $79,040 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:
This family is offering all standard benefits, including 12 days of paid time off including sick days, paid holidays, and a vehicle to drive on the job.

Any Additional Perks:
The family is also offering a $250 monthly stipend for healthcare benefits.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations including tdap.
