ACT/SAT Tutor

We are a tutoring company in Sorrento Valley looking for intelligent and motivated ACT/SAT tutors to join our team. We provide comprehensive paid training in the Mo Prep Process - no prior test-prep experience is required.

About the Position:

• In-Person Tutoring: Conduct 1-on-1 sessions at our Sorrento Valley office.
• Student Success: Help students achieve their goals, report on progress, and teach lifelong study skills.
• Hours: Typically 10–20 hours per week (flexible, with potential to scale).
• Development: Includes ongoing mentorship and opportunities for material development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Self-directed + independently motivated
• Deeply committed to educating their students and teaching lifelong study skills
• Invested in seeing students to success
• Experience with one-on-one tutoring
• Committed to taking students through the end of the 2027 school year (June), although longer is even better!

Minimum Expected Availability:

• 5 hour block on either Saturday or Sunday
• 4 hour block on three separate (M-Th) evenings after 3:30pm
• Please note: While these are the minimums, additional availability (Fridays or mornings/afternoons) allows us to schedule you with students more quickly.
