Job Summary:
Under limited supervision, the Adult Basic Education Tutor will help teach academic subjects such as: English, Mathematics, Science, and History to adult age students. The Adult Basic Education Tutor will meet regularly with students who need help academically and help the students improve their: study skills, organizational skills, test taking skills, note taking skills and time management skills. This position may teach in a classroom setting, study room, library, online or a hybrid setting. The ultimate goal of the tutor is to help improve the student's improve their academic success and help them reach their full potential.

Job Type: Part Time, 10 hours per week. This is a grant funded position.

Salary: $23.00 per hour
