Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze statistical and financial data to assess risk exposure and liability.
- Develop actuarial models to support pricing, reserving, and financial forecasting.
- Conduct valuations for insurance reserves, pension funds, and risk portfolios.
- Support product design, pricing strategies, and profitability analysis.
- Prepare and present actuarial reports, forecasts, and compliance documents.
- Monitor regulatory and industry developments to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with underwriters, finance, and risk teams to support decision-making.
- Use actuarial tools, statistical software, and programming languages (R, Python, SAS, SQL) for analysis.
- Assist in strategic projects such as capital management, mergers, and acquisitions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related field.
- Progress towards actuarial professional exams (SOA, IFoA, CAS, or equivalent) preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in actuarial modeling software, MS Excel, and programming tools (R, Python, SAS, SQL).
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams.
