AD Merchant Lending & Payments

Faisalabad, Pakistan

This position holder ensures that the mobile financial payment and lending solutions are offered at the most suitable and preferred channel for all relevant business segments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Achieving the annual target of M&LP department.
  2. Achieving the merchant QR deployment, retailer activation and volume targets.
  3. Responsible for bringing distributors onboard for the Merchant to Distributor payments solution
  4. Making proposals and presenting to FMCG companies / large scale distributors in the assigned territories
  5. Executing all the legal requirements / account opening process for the new distributors
  6. Segment / territory wise trade identification and acquisition.
  7. Developing merchants of all segments to penetrate in market & roll-out payment solutions.
  8. Managing a team of third party resources in collaboration with the distributors team to deliver on the KPIs
  9. Responsible for merchant awareness and trainings through the distributors and third party resources.
  10. Providing end to end necessary support, training and troubleshooting including but not limited to the BVS equipment, systems, POS material, giveaways etc.
  11. Driving the business model working as a business owner ensuring efficient workflows at all ends
  12. Responsible to run sales drives for merchants and distributors in order to drive growth
  13. Upsell of different financial services products to the retail channel through the distributors
  14. Support Channels teams for deployment and uptake of QR product in collaboration with partner distributors
  15. Lead the ambition of Digital Lending through various initiatives i.e. M2D Retailer Lending
  16. Liaison with FMCGs and large distributors for Merchant to Distributor payment solutions. Collaborating with these partners for shared footprint
  17. Incumbent shall be responsible to adhere by Telenor Microfinance Bank Behaviours & Values in all aspects of his/her work conduct.
  18. Ensure that a culture of risk and compliance management is implemented, and institute performance measures tied to individual risk and compliance responsibilities

Knowledge and Experience

Education: Bachelors – MBA shall be preferred
