The University College Advisement Center (UCAC) invites applications for a full-time, benefits-eligible Administrative Assistant 1 (AA1) position at The University of New Mexico’s main campus.
UCAC provides academic advisement and support to a diverse student population, including undecided/exploratory students, pre-health students, liberal arts and integrative studies majors, and non-degree seeking students. As the first point of contact for the center, the Administrative Assistant plays an important role in creating a welcoming, professional, and student-centered environment.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a fast-paced office setting, and values teamwork and organization. The successful candidate will support the daily operations of a highly skilled academic advisement center while delivering exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

This is an in-person position located on UNM’s main campus. Remote work is not available for this role.

High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
