The Admin cum Accountant is responsible for handling administrative tasks and managing the company's financial records. This dual-role position requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who can effectively manage office operations while ensuring accuracy in accounting and bookkeeping.
Key Responsibilities:Accounting Duties:
- Maintain and update financial records and ledgers.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Handle petty cash and bank reconciliations.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Prepare and file tax returns (VAT/GST/TDS, etc. as applicable).
- Support external audits and liaise with auditors.
- Monitor budgets and report any variances.
- Use accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or others.
Administrative Duties:
- Manage office supplies and inventory.
- Maintain employee records and assist with HR documentation.
- Organize and schedule meetings and appointments.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Maintain filing systems and office documentation.
- Assist in onboarding new employees and maintaining staff attendance records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in accounting and office administration (2+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
