Admin & Inventory Officer

We are a leading firm in the Mechanical Engineering sector, specializing in high-quality manufacturing and precision engineering. We are currently seeking a dynamic, organized, and proactive Admin & Inventory Officer to join our team at our SITE Area / Nazimabad facility in Karachi.

Job Location & Details

  • Location: SITE Area / Nazimabad, Karachi (Must be able to commute reliably)
  • Timing: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)
  • Salary: Market Competitive (Based on experience and skills)
  • Industry: Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing

Job Description (Key Responsibilities)

1. Inventory & Store Management

  • Maintain accurate, real-time records of all incoming and outgoing engineering stock, raw materials, tools, and spare parts.
  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile them with inventory logs/software.
  • Monitor stock levels and raise purchase requisitions for low-stock items to prevent production downtime.
  • Inspect received goods for quality, quantity, and compliance with purchase orders.
  • Organize the storage area efficiently to ensure easy accessibility and safety of engineering components.

2. Office Administration

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and productive work environment.
  • Manage company documentation, filing systems, and administrative records.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers for facility maintenance and utility management.
  • Assist management in routine operational tasks, correspondence, and petty cash handling.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.Com, BBA, or relevant discipline). Candidates with a technical background or a diploma in engineering will be given preference.
  • Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven experience as an Admin & Inventory Officer, preferably within a manufacturing, workshop, or mechanical engineering industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (especially MS Excel for inventory tracking). Experience with inventory management software is a strong plus.

Preferred Asset: A basic understanding or working knowledge of CNC machines, cutting tools, and engineering spare parts will be highly prioritized and considered a major plus.
