Retired Army Officer – Rank of Captain or Major preferred.
Objective of the Role:
To ensure smooth and secure functioning of all administrative operations, facility management, logistics, and regulatory compliance in line with pharmaceutical industry standards, leveraging disciplined leadership and operational expertise from a military background.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Operations
- Supervise day-to-day administrative activities across office, plant, and field operations.
- Manage facility upkeep, office maintenance, infrastructure, and workplace hygiene (especially critical in pharma environments).
- Monitor AMC contracts, housekeeping, security, transport, and utility services.
Security & Surveillance
- Oversee physical security systems (CCTV, entry/exit control, visitor management).
- Coordinate with security agencies and ensure 24/7 surveillance and response systems.
- Implement SOPs for emergency response, disaster management, and evacuation protocols.
Compliance & Regulatory Support
- Ensure all statutory licenses, permits, and government approvals related to facilities are up to date (e.g., factory license, fire safety, pollution control).
- Assist with audits (internal, external, and regulatory) related to administrative domains.
People & Resource Management
- Supervise administrative staff including drivers, security personnel, and housekeeping teams.
- Train and instill discipline, punctuality, and work ethics among support staff.
- Coordinate logistics and support for company meetings, visits, and events.
Logistics & Transport
- Manage company vehicles, travel arrangements, and movement planning for staff and goods.
- Maintain fleet logs, fuel usage records, and driver discipline.
Liaison & Coordination
- Serve as liaison with government agencies, local authorities, and vendors.
- Handle vendor management including negotiations, service level monitoring, and payments.
Qualification & Experience
- Graduate in any discipline (additional certification in administration, logistics, or facility management is a plus).
- 8–10 years total experience including defense service and 2–3 years in private sector (preferred but not mandatory).
