Job Title: Administration Supervisor – School/Nursery
Job Summary:
The Administration Supervisor in a school or nursery setting is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the administrative operations of the institution. This role ensures smooth day-to-day functioning, compliance with educational policies, effective communication with staff and parents, and proper record-keeping for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Operations:
- Supervise day-to-day administrative activities of the school/nursery.
- Maintain organized records of students, staff, attendance, admissions, and fees.
- Ensure smooth office functioning, including reception, correspondence, and office supplies management.
2. Staff Supervision:
- Supervise administrative staff, clerks, and support personnel.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance and training.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of administrative staff.
3. Student and Parent Coordination:
- Manage inquiries from parents regarding admissions, fees, and schedules.
- Assist in organizing parent-teacher meetings, events, and workshops.
- Ensure timely communication with parents regarding school/nursery policies and notices.
4. Compliance and Policy Implementation:
- Ensure adherence to school/nursery policies and educational regulations.
- Assist in maintaining records for inspections, audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Support implementation of safety, hygiene, and child protection measures.
5. Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare administrative reports for management regarding admissions, attendance, staff performance, and other relevant metrics.
- Maintain proper documentation of student progress, staff records, and office procedures.
6. Event and Facility Support:
- Coordinate logistics for school/nursery events, workshops, and activities.
- Ensure proper maintenance of office and student facilities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of administrative experience, preferably in schools, nurseries, or early childhood education centers.
- Knowledge of school/nursery operations, admission procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in office software and student management systems.
