Position Description Summary:
The Administrative Support Assistant provides essential administrative, timekeeping, travel, and coordination support to cross functional teams managing large-scale, multimillion dollar design and construction projects across the National Park Service. The AA ensures operational continuity, accuracy of administrative data, and timely support for project, contracting, planning, and budget staff.
Hybrid: 50% onsite at Denver Federal Center + 50% telework
Hours: Monday–Friday, 06:00–18:00 MT, with required core hours 09:00–15:00 MT
Responsibilities:

Timekeeping & Records

Serve as the divisional timekeeper.

Enter, maintain, and update employee time and attendance records.

Ensure accurate accounting codes and 100% accuracy for entries.

Travel Coordination
-
Coordinate all staff travel arrangements.

Prepare travel authorizations, vouchers, approvals, and itineraries.

Maintain travel tracking spreadsheets.

Reconcile monthly travel card statements.

Administrative Support

Coordinate and schedule divisional meetings.

Maintain professional communication and documentation.

Provide additional administrative support as assigned.

Required Minimum Qualifications

2+ years of administrative support experience

Experience with timekeeping, travel coordination, or financial/administrative tasks preferred

Education:
