Lincoln Community Health Center, Inc., a federally qualified community health center located in Durham, NC is recruiting for a Human Resources & Chief Medical Officer Assistant. Durham is known as the Bull City, the City of Medicine, the Tastiest Town in the South, and the Startup Capital of the South. It’s a two-hour drive from the beach, a three-hour drive from the Blue Ridge Mountains, and is North Carolina’s fourth largest city by population.
OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY:
The Administrative Assistant will work 20 hours a week providing administrative support and exemplary customer service to internal and external customers while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, timeliness, compliance and confidentiality in all functional areas of the organization’s human resources department. The Human Resources Assistant will assist the Human Resources Director and other Human Resources Staff with recruitment, record maintenance, onboarding/orientation, coordinating events, scheduling meetings, preparing HR related reports, etc.
The Administrative Assistant will also work 20 hours a week providing administrative support to the Chief Medical Officer and their direct reports in the areas of general office organization, preparation of reports, letters and documents, policy and procedure clarification and interpretation, scheduling of meetings and other administrative tasks as assigned. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material, effectively communicate via phone and email, ensuring all duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner with anticipation of needs. Resolve moderately complex (non-routine) administrative issues that may require research.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Minimum qualifications include: two to three years of Human Resources/Administrative experience supporting Senior Level Management is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook and the ability to creatively use Microsoft Products and Zoom/Teleconferencing at the moderate to advanced level. The ability to communicate effectively with various levels of staff and public is required. The ability to use excellent interpersonal skills and the ability work with minimum supervision is required. Strong organization and planning skills.
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School graduation, supplemented with additional administrative courses. Associate Degree in Business or related field preferred. Bachelors Degree desired.
