We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our team at Cover Me Insurance Agency of NJ, Inc. This vital role ensures the smooth day-to-day operations of our office and provides exceptional service to both staff and clients. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and possesses strong communication and multitasking skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming calls using a multi-line phone system with professionalism and courtesy.
- Perform accurate and efficient data entry and maintain organized digital and physical records.
- Schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and support calendar management.
- Provide customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist with basic bookkeeping and ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
- Proofread and edit documents for clarity and correctness before distribution.
- Collaborate effectively with team members on projects and office tasks.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous administrative or office experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong typing and data entry accuracy.
- Experience in clerical duties such as filing, document organization, and records maintenance.
- Bilingual skills a plus; dental or medical office experience is advantageous.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience as a personal assistant or similar roles is a plus.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
