Administrative Assistant

Position Summary
Provide administrative and procurement support to ensure efficient day-to-day operations, including front-line communication, document preparation, and sourcing assistance.

Working Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and route incoming telephone calls; take accurate messages and respond to routine inquiries.
  • Research components and materials as requested, gathering specifications, availability, and supporting documentation.
  • Request, compare, and obtain quotes on components from vendors/suppliers; track pricing and lead times.
  • Type, format, and proofread proposals, letters, and other business documents.
  • Maintain organized electronic and paper files; ensure documents are properly versioned and easy to retrieve.
  • Support scheduling, meeting coordination, and general office administrative tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional coursework or degree a plus).
  • Previous administrative experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.

Compensation
Starting wage: $15/hour (negotiable based on experience).

Dress Code
Business casual attire required; no denim or jeans.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
