Location: Laguna Woods, CA

Employment Type: contract- about 3 months

Pay: $25-$28/hr

Position Overview

LHH is seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to provide high-level administrative and clerical support to our client in near Laguna Woods. This role is responsible for managing complex office functions, coordinating departmental activities, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced administrative and clerical support to executive leadership
  • Compose correspondence, prepare reports, and manage documentation for departmental activities
  • Coordinate communication and workflow between internal departments, external vendors, and stakeholders
  • Maintain complex filing systems and accurate records, including personnel changes, schedules, and budgets
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitor budget accounts
  • Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas and recording minutes
  • Screen and direct calls, respond to inquiries, and provide detailed information about programs and services
  • Support onboarding and personnel-related administrative processes in coordination with Human Resources
  • Coordinate clerical staff and assist with project-based administrative work
  • Arrange meeting logistics, including facilities and materials
  • Drive to meetings, workshops, or other work-related events as needed


Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; additional coursework in business or office administration preferred
  • Several years of administrative or clerical experience in a professional office environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office systems
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
