The Opportunity

As our growing customer base expands across North America and beyond, we are looking for an organized, proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be a vital connector—keeping our operations running smoothly, supporting our clients, and ensuring our team has what it needs to do its best work. This position reports to our Administrator.

This is a fully remote position. Trust that duties will be performed in a timely manner are of the utmost importance. Regular communication with team members is highly encouraged. We especially welcome candidates located in or near the Kansas City, Kansas area.

What You will Do

Bookkeeping is the primary focus of this role. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Bookkeeping, including daily entry of accounts payable and accounts receivable — this is the core emphasis of the position. Knowledge of basic accounting practices is required.
  • Management and delivery of contracts for signature, tracking responses and fielding questions throughout the process
  • Managing & planning for scheduled conferences, workshops, and classes
  • Tracking event & online course registrations and payments
  • Assisting with the management of the online bookstore including receiving, shipping, and tracking orders
  • Fielding company phone calls when needed.

You will collaborate closely with our Administrator and every member of our team and will regularly serve as a first point of contact for potential customers. Responsiveness and a warm, approachable communication style are genuinely important to us.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring demonstrated bookkeeping experience along with a well-rounded administrative skills set:

  • Bookkeeping experience, with comfort managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • A willingness to learn new systems, processes & procedures.
  • Ability to represent the company well in written and verbal communications.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and handling sensitive information.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
