Location: 80918 Colorado Springs – On-site Position Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Your organizational skills and proactive attitude will be vital in supporting daily operations and ensuring a seamless client experience. You'll handle a variety of administrative tasks and provide outstanding customer support.

Compensation: $45,000–$55,000 base+ negotiable for experience/credentials; PTO earned for 6 holidays, 4 personal days, 5 vacation days; retirement plan match; reimbursed licensing exams & study materials.

We are a small, family-owned Financial Advisory and RIA Firm serving multi-generational clients for over 35 years. As a team of 6, we pride ourselves on white-glove service, fiduciary integrity, and a warm, caring culture. This is not a corporate call-center. Every team member knows every client by name.

The Role

Start as our Administrative Assistant and, with initiative, there is an opportunity to advance to ParaPlanner (2-5 years) and Associate Advisor Track (5-10 years). We will reimburse you for your Series 7, 66, Life/Health licenses, and CFP® coursework if you show initiative.

Administrative Assistant

Client Experience (50%)

· Greet clients (in-person & phone), schedule reviews, send correspondence. Excellent phone etiquette

· Prepare meeting materials, scan/organize documents, update and maintain client information in CRM and compliance systems

· Process paperwork and service requests, account openings, transfers, RMDs, and beneficiary changes.

Team Support (50%)

· Call Service providers and request information, verify details, prepare organized, accurate work product

· Gather investment research, strategy proposals, and insurance illustrations.

· Ad-hoc projects (ex. convert paper files to digital, explore new technologies for adoption).

· Maintain processes and procedures, manage office supplies, other general office duties to include both physical and digital filing, data entry, document preparation and management

Paraplanner Track (upon licensure & mastery) Year 2–3+: optional with initiative

· Build financial plans in MoneyGuidePro/IncomeLabs.

  • Run “what-if” scenarios, insurance audits, Roth conversions.
  • Draft review summaries and sit in on client meetings (shadow → co-present).
  • Earn seat at morning huddle; eventual path to Associate Advisor.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years administrative assistant experience (financial services a plus, not required). Proven office experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Cleanly available M–F 8:00–5:00; rare overtime.
  • Clean financial history, background check and fingerprinting required.
  • We judge character over credentials, and critical thinking ability over existing knowledge.
  • Bonus: Notary, prior accounting, math or science background (we work with many engineers)
