Administrative Assistant, People + Culture – WWE

Stamford, CT

Position Summary

WWE is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join the People + Culture team at their Stamford, CT headquarters. The role includes managing calendars for both the SVP of People + Culture and the SVP of Total Rewards, as well as providing comprehensive office support to the People + Culture department. The ideal candidate will be proactive, diligent, exercise sound judgment, and be trustworthy—especially when handling sensitive or confidential matters. In-person teamwork is important to us. Therefore, this position is on-site and requires work from WWE HQ in Stamford, Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5:30 pm.

Responsibilities

  • Take initiative in managing calendars for two on-site executives within the People + Culture team.
  • Answer calls, relay messages, and ensure all requests are followed up and completed.
  • Provide support for various projects and events by prioritizing tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external vendors and partners.
  • Regularly connect and collaborate with other administrative assistants in the building to deliver cohesive, high-quality work.
  • Welcome visitors and guests with outstanding customer service that reflects WWE’s culture.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from other departments as required.
  • Coordinate with the personal teams of assigned executives to manage busy calendars and arrange travel details.
  • Assist with email communication and the creation of PowerPoint presentations as necessary.
  • Schedule and organize meetings or events at the direction of assigned executives.
  • Organize travel either directly or in partnership with the Travel department, booking flights, hotels, and car services, and preparing detailed itineraries with all relevant information. Update itineraries as needed and stay informed about travel changes (light travel).
  • Prepare expense reports for assigned executives when requested.
  • Monitor office supplies, placing orders when necessary, and coordinate department lunches.
  • Handle additional tasks, projects, and responsibilities as they arise.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1+ years of relevant experience in a customer service focused business with strong interest in the sports and entertainment business.
  • Ideal for individuals eager to pursue a career in human resources.
  • Proactive with a strong attention to detail and exceptional work ethic.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and anticipate needs of the role.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Self-starter—with motivation and initiative to deliver excellent results.
  • Highly responsive with emails, texts, and phone calls, including outside regular business hours.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
  • Clear and effective communicator, sets expectations, and effective time manager.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
  • Demonstrates discretion and sensitivity in handling confidential information.
  • “AI curious” and able to utilize AI tools as needed for the role.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as an aptitude for learning new software applications.
