Description:

Act as administrative assistant for two directors in Air Vehicle Engineering. Position responsibility includes arranging travel including international and preparing the associated expense reports, ensuring compliance with hospitality requirements of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, managing directors' calendars, and collaborating effectively with the Engineering and Technology administrative staff to ensure the effective operations of the entire team.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Experience providing administrative assistant support to executive level clients

- Experience in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint and Teams - use of formulas, tables, charts, pivot tables, import/export data, creating new presentations and editing existing ones, teams channels, file sharing, etc.

  • Must have previous experience with travel booking software (Concur preferred), coordinating complex travel arrangements and reconciling expense reports.

Desired Skills:


  • Experience working at a defense contractor facility

  • Effective communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Experience managing travel arrangements and completing timely expense reports.

  • Proven ability to foster a positive team culture, identifying opportunities to make a larger team more effective

  • Able to apply a systematic approach to action items and deadlines

- Familiarity with Lockheed Martin (LM) -wide systems such as My Timecard, LM Travel, LM Expenses (Concur), and Iron Mountain Connect

  • Familiarity with LM policies and procedures

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
