Administrative Assistant with Emphasis in Human Resources

Administrative Assistants support HR management-level staff and perform a variety of tasks. The primary duty of an Administrative Assistant is to support the HR Manager with collection and management of data pertaining to the business. They are also involved in the recruiting, hiring, and training of new employees.

HR Administrative Assistant job description (Entry Level)

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable administrative assistant to join our ambitious Human Resources team!

HR Administrative Assistant job duties and responsibilities

· Responsible for posting job Ads on career pages and processing received resumes

· Help organize and manage new employee orientation and programs

· Provide administrative support to HR manager

· Manage and update HR databases with different information such as new hires, terminations, sick leaves, warnings, vacation and days off

· Help in payroll assigned task and preparation.

· Prepare, manage and file paperwork for HR policies and procedures

· Organize, compile, update company personnel records and documentation

· Answer telephone calls and provide needed information

· Create reports for senior management

· Other duties as assigned.

HR Administrative Assistant job requirements

· Recruiting, hiring, on-boarding experience is a plus.

· Previous working experience as an administrative assistant 2 years min

· Ability to effectively use computer software including E-mail Communication, Word, Excel and HR / Payroll software (ADP a plus)

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Some experience or familiarity with HR procedures

· Excellent organizational and time-management skills

· Act as a reliable and supportive team member

· Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a plus but not required.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
