Administrative Assistant (with Financial Experience)

Job Description

The Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and financial support to management. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and hands-on experience in basic financial and accounting tasks to ensure smooth daily operations and accurate financial tracking.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Manage schedules, meetings, and appointments.
  • Prepare and handle correspondence, reports, and documentation.
  • Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and physical).
  • Coordinate communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Follow up on tasks and ensure timely completion of management directives.

Financial Responsibilities:

  • Review invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests for accuracy.
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and summaries.
  • Coordinate with the finance or accounting department on reconciliations and records.
  • Assist in budget tracking and expense control.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role with financial responsibilities.
  • Basic to good knowledge of accounting and financial principles.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
