This position will serve as the Director of the Division of Cash Management under the direction of the Director of the Office of Grants Management. This position is responsible for ensuring the availability of cash for the operation of the numerous programs of the Department of Health, Health Facilities and Human Services and oversight of the agency's compliance with the Federal Cash Management Act and state laws with assistance from a staff of two Accountant/Auditors 4's. This division oversees the cash management function of the Departments by maintaining the cash flow of federal and state funds for various programs. It oversees compliance and coordinates various reports with the State Treasurer's Office. It also prepares and submits information for the closing books to the Department of Administration's FARS unit.
Training: Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university with a degree in the area of assignment.
Substitution: Experience as described below may substitute for the training requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Experience: Five years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid administrative or supervisory experience in the area of assignment.
Special Requirement: A valid driver's license may be required.
Graduate course work from an accredited college or university may substitute at the rate of fifteen (15) semester hours of training for every one (1) year of required experience.
