Why you’ll love this position:

The Health Education Unit is responsible for implementation of the certified nurse aide (CNA), certified medication technician (CMT), insulin administration, and Level I Medication Aide (L1MA) certification registries. This position assists in providing excellent customer service to students, instructors, long-term care facilities, and training agencies.

The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.

Responsibilities - What you’ll do
  • Perform data entry that supports functions of the registries;
  • Open and process mail and prepare letters. Scan and validate paperwork;
  • Provide assistance with challenge requests for the CNA certification by processing, verifying and corresponding with the applicant;
  • Process reciprosity requests, provide correspondence and add to the registry;
  • Answer phone calls during the call center hours while providing assistance and guidance to callers;
  • Process L1MA updates, provide correspondence and add to the registry;
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications - All you need for success Minimum Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as proficient typing skills and basic computer knowledge;
  • Critical thinking, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, along with a high level of commitment, and ability to meet deadlines;
  • Ability to move from one task to another in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all customers;
  • Ability to work independently with a minimal level of supervision.
