What You’ll Do:
As an Administrative Technician, you will:
  • Review and process incoming complaints from the public, licensees, and facilities
  • Create letters to complainants and/or respondents confirming results from Attorney General office or Department Legal office
  • Pay bills via OnBase
  • Manage and construct contracts for Investigations and Environmental Health Unit via Cobblestone system – keep an accurate record of these contracts
  • Organize and submit statements and receipts for Unit Administrator’s purchasing card
  • Notarize subpoenas
  • Utilize the My License Office (MLO) system
  • Respond to inquiries from facilities, licensees, and the public
  • Perform general office tasks including answering phones, managing correspondence, and maintaining records

Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Coursework/training or experience related to research, presentation, or publication in an area related to the programs or functions of the employing agency; business administration; accounting; customer service; and/ or technical support work, including use of computer software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience performing administrative support
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Access and PowerPoint)
  • Experience reviewing and preparing legal documents or formal investigative reports, such as subpoenas, affidavits, complaint summaries, or regulatory correspondence.
  • Experience handling confidential or sensitive records in accordance with internal policies and procedures (1 year or more).

  • Ability to interpret and explain legal documents and state regulations
